The original Craven Dunnill factory is not only our workshop, but also houses the Jackfield Tile Museum, part of the Ironbridge Gorge museum Trust, the most complete Victorian Tile Factory in England.

As a world heritage site The Ironbridge Gorge is famous as the birthplace of the industrial revolution. Few people are aware that a mile downstream of Ironbridge is the small village of Jackfield, which 130 years ago was the centre of Britain’s ceramic tile industry.

We employ manufacturing techniques from the late 19th century and the more modern development of transfer print. Our range of decorative, yet practical home accessories are created using designs from classical paintings, original Victorian tiles and the work of contemporary artists.

Our products are pressed from powdered clay, decorated and hand glazed using traditional manufacturing processes, they are ideal for potted house plants, casseroles and teapots.

A fully bespoke service is available to create your own design or even an entire range of ceramic pot stands. Small runs, limited edition and temporary exhibition merchandise are also available, complete with presentation packaging. Licences are also considered.
